hahaha. only because I get bored and look for people, usually classmates, who I havent talked to in some time. usually I go to middle school or elementary, but for this profile, I add whoever will accept, because this is not my personal profile. I actually added you this time though, just to see if you would accept this profile. not myself, but the profile. simple curiosity. how have you been?
Why no on 8? 1) 'we voted 61 percent to take away gay marriage, and our right was taken away' You are barely struggling over half. our vote was taken away too. 2) Inter-racial couples were once considered immoral. 3) 'we dont want our kids learning this in schools' Whites didnt want african americans taught in schools. Nor did they want inter-racial marriages taught in schools. 4)'we dont want our church to marry gay people' So many homosexual couples will only want to marry with a priest and church who want them there, not who voted against them. would you want someone marrying you who voted against your marriage? 5) 'only three percent of the population is gay' More, much much more than 3%. but lets say you are right, and lets turn the tables. lets take away your marriage, but let you keep your rights. lets say you never were able to marriage, but you were allowed a civil union. does it feel the same? can you call your spouse your wife? or husband? in a union for 50 years or married for 50 years? 'what was your wedding like?' 'we didnt recieve a wedding, no priest would marry us' 6) and if I kept it to myself? indoors? wont tell your kids? wont walk hand in hand? that still wouldnt be enough. 7)'gays already have the same rights as married people' we do not have the same rights. you have the right to call your husband, your husband. I can only call my wife my spouse. 8) sacred and traditional marriages you want to preserve? whos traditions? real traditional marriages, were not through inter-racial couples, women couldnt own property or work, blacks couldnt marry and were slaves. lets go back to traditions? we would not have our new president, such an intelligent man, he would probably be your slave instead. 9)with the turning of prop 8, not only did we lose our right to marry, many people got their life threatened, because younger kids believe no one cares about gays.
We’re back for some more good times, once again playing an awesome show at the legendary Troubadour, on Tuesday, Oct. 14th. This is a concert not be missed, as we will be taking the stage with the infamous band, Three, who put on one hell of a show. Be sure to get your tickets in advance as this concert is sure to sell out.
