If you're a fierce female who is 18 or older and interested in becoming the next hellion on wheels, skaters with the Savannah Derby Devils women's roller derby league will be hosting a night of tryouts every last Tuesday of the month at the Garden City Recreation Center/Gym behind Groves High School on Hwy. 21.
Skates and protective gear will be provided at no cost, but bring your own if you have it and wear comfortable clothing to break a sweat in. Tryouts start at 8 p.m.
The Devils will be testing women for their agility and confidence on skates — including posture, stride, speed, endurance and ability to stop — so join us if you think you can roll with the punches. Bring a photo ID and medical insurance information if you have it.

About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
