In 1997-1998, she was a Fulbright Scholar and worked as a correspondence translator for Bavaria's Prince von Hohenzollern. >>Currently, she is a regular contributor to Library Journal, where she writes a monthly column on newly released reference guides. She is the Pittsburgh correspondent for the award-winning Care Mates Infection Protection Blog. Her interview work will soon appear in The Photo Review and Sculpture Magazine. She is an adjunct English instructor at West Virginia Northern in Wheeling. >>Savannah is author of the short story collection, The Famous & The Anonymous (Better Non Sequitur, 2004) and editor of the theme-based fiction anthology, Consumed: Women on Excess (So New Media, 2005). She has been nominated for a Pushcart and a Storysouth Million Writers Award. A new short story collection, American Soma is slated for release from So New Publishing in 2009. >>She, her husband Michael, and their two dogs travel between the northern panhandle of West Virginia and Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood.
