Saved By Radio Announces The Debut Of … Saved By Vinyl Why Saved By Vinyl? Well… The Vinyl Institute (no, really! Who knew?) says, “Vinyl is the global plastic of choice for infrastructure and diverse applications.” They also say, “One Material, Infinite Uses”. So we say One Material, Infinite Music! Actually, Dawn says a bit more than that: "I think the future of music lies in two media: the digital download/iPod world and vinyl. I don't want to lose the idea of a record as an artifact. The CD has really become throwaway, but vinyl will always remain. We've also realized at Saved by Radio that we can't have every band that we like on our label -- it's just not possible. I see Saved by Vinyl as a great way for us to directly contribute to the careers of artists that aren't part of SBR directly, but that we'd like to support."

Dan Mangan	Oct 25 2006 7:22 AM i like where this is going, girls.. tho i heard there's a new laserjet that prints vinyls... it's only the size of a mid-to-large sized vehicle and weighs only as much as a small-to-mid sized elephant.. it's fuelled by farts.. the thing turns farts to records.. isn't that amazing?
