About me:
Imminent State Park Closings!On July 28th, the Governor signed the state budget. It contained an additional $6M cut to state parks, bringing the total General Fund cut for this budget year to $14.2M. It is expected that this will result in the closure of perhaps more than 100 state parks. There is still no closure list at this time.
The Save Our State Parks (SOS) Campaign is a statewide, grassroots effort to keep California’s magnificent state parks open. In partnership with over 150 organizations, businesses, local governments, and thousands of individuals around the state and across the nation, the California State Parks Foundation is leading SOS Campaign activities and generating awareness and action.

I do love this countries state parks,
I spend a lot of my time during the summer
there. Being with true Nature is a most beautiful and natural environment that can
not be denied, and must not be neglected or destroyed.
