About me:

The SavetheInternet.com Coalition is more than a million everyday people who have banded together with thousands of non-profit organizations, businesses and bloggers to protect Internet freedom. The Coalition believes that the Internet is a crucial engine for economic growth and free speech. We are working together to urge Congress to preserve Network Neutrality, the First Amendment of the Internet, which ensures that the Internet remains open to new ideas, innovation and progress. From its beginnings, the Internet has leveled the playing field for all. Everyday people can have their voices heard by thousands, even millions of people. The SavetheInternet.com Coalition -- representing millions of Americans from all walks of life -- is working together to ensure that Congress passes no telecommunications legislation without meaningful and enforceable Network Neutrality protections. Coalition members include Vint Cerf (known as the 'father of the Internet'), Moveon.org, the Christian Coalition, Gun Owner's of America, PETA, and many more.

How can YOU help?

Help us get to 2 million strong for Net Neutrality!

Sign the Net Neutrality Petition today and tell Congress and the FCC to support a free and open internet.

When we log onto the Internet, we take a lot for granted. We assume we'll be able to access any Web site we want, whenever we want, at the fastest speed, whether it's a corporate or mom-and-pop site. We assume that we can use any service we like -- watching online video, listening to podcasts, sending instant messages -- anytime we choose.

What makes all these assumptions possible is Network Neutrality.

Network Neutrality -- or "Net Neutrality" for short -- is the guiding principle that preserves the free and open Internet. Put simply, Net Neutrality means no discrimination. Net Neutrality prevents Internet providers from blocking, speeding up or slowing down Web content based on its source, ownership or destination.

The nation's largest telephone and cable companies -- including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast and Time Warner -- want to be Internet gatekeepers, deciding which Web sites go fast or slow and which won't load at all. They want to discriminate in favor of their own search engines, Internet phone services, and streaming video -- while slowing down or blocking their competitors.

Take Action - Save the Internet or Tell Congress and the FCC to preserve Net Neutrality and help ensure that the benefits and promise of the Internet are available to all Americans.

    Hello SavetheInternet. com

Eliminate all BUTs from your life. Think about what the effect of BUT is in your communication to yourself and others. When we talk to ourselves we often use BUT to distort our reality in a way that leads us to go down familiar negative paths. We tell ourself a postive and then use BUT to take it away a lot of times. We tell someone that we love them and then we spoil it by saying BUT this is happening which our special person interprets as we don't really love them. I am successful BUT I am not as motivated as I want to be. Does this take away from the pleasure of being successful or does it take away the success altogether.

Use the word AND instead; you will find that you are more at peace with yourself, and your friends and family appreciate the positive talk. You will even find it easier to get rid of that other BUTT when you stop using BUT altogether.

I hope you are having a beautiful day!!! We are just about to take the first step into the unknown on the next part of our incredible journey. Our goal is to promote children to think for themselves and to give them strength, support, self-confidence and love so that they can grow up into adulthood without fear, doubt and with the belief that they can achieve anything and that there is nothing out of their reach. We want to give them the tools to bring those things to life, the knowing that they can do anything they set their minds too, absolutely anything. We need to allow children to be who they are without imposing our own beliefs onto them.

When we unleash our own creativity, our own passion, free from external sources, that is when we can to begin to find our own original ideas that could create the possibility of a better world. This project will be in the hands of children and it will be them that will create that possibility.

There is nothing more amazing as a child than to have encouragement to go beyond your boundaries and create something unexpected, we want to give children the ability to feel the unexpected but at their own hands, in their control, without doubt and with complete freedom. We will go on that journey with them through our photography and film to bring fun and joy into their hearts to show them what passion and a love of life can truly feel like.

Please subscribe to our site www. theopenmind. org/subscribe to help raise awareness and to enable us to take this journey to as many children in the world as possible. Xxxx Anne & Lisa

You hold your answers. So many times people look for answers to who they are or what they want by searching outside. It is as if someone else knows them better than they do. Think about who you talk to the most. If you said someone else you might want to reconsider that answer. Through the years I have found that the person we talk to the most is ourselves. We are continually talking to ourselves to discuss feelings, decisions, and to change the meaning of what we are experiencing at the time. This process of inner talk is one of the key secrets to how we create our reality.

You already know the answer to your questions most of the time. The challenge is actually accepting it for what it is. In your perfect world how would you like to be this week, next week and the weeks to come? You are in charge of who you are today and the next so have some fun with it my friend.

From Barack Obama's Technology Platform: "Protect the Openness of the Internet: A key reason the Internet has been such a success is because it is the most open network in history. It needs to stay that way. Barack Obama strongly supports the principle of network neutrality to preserve the benefits of open competition on the Internet..."

Many times we spend our life not paying attention to how we operate. Take a minute and ask yourself what state of mind do you spend most of your day in. Do you look for the positive things in life to happen or are you creating a lot of journeys down negative roads? Your body responds to the journeys that you create even when they never come true. Take a minute and think about what kind of experiences you are living that never come true and ask yourself if you would like to change that.

My favorite two words are "What IF" as long as you use them to create fun and excitement. By simply asking yourself "What IF" you can allow your mental state to change. If you practice it enough you can change how you respond and react to any situation.

We are blessed with so many abilities and the only limits we have are the ones the we place upon ourselves. Your life can be anything you want it to be and if you play "What IF" enough you can actually teach your subconscious what choices to make because you rehearsed them enough in your fantastic mind.

Thanks for being a friend and have a great week.

I meet a lot of people traveling but something bothers me and I just have to get it out. People hate America; mostly in the third world after all we have changed the outcome of many civil wars- did you know? Traveling through La Ceiba Honduras I meet a group of three French travelers who invited me out for a drink and to play some game of pool. It sounded like a great idea, which it was despite being surrounded by a group of angry anti-American Hondurans and Belize ex patriot ex cons. One local was delighted to talk to my French amigos. He would rant loudly of his hate for American's and America alike as if I could not understand him. This set for a wonderful mood and after that all I keep noticing were lots large people with hate in their eyes, alcohol on their breath and white powder on their brains. At first it was reliving when I spoke to the owner, who was a very nice man, though our conversation and the comfort of his company ran short after I responded, "California." To his question, "¿donde eres?"

"Estados Unidos." he uttered as he turned his back walking away. That's right, mid conversation he just turned his back to me and walked away. I tried to explain myself to him but he would not talk to me. People down here have an interesting perspective as said by one Mayan woman to the Americans that come and volunteer, "We don't want your help here. We want you to go home and fix your own problems."...

it is sad that this is part of my journal.. it's good to have you savetheinternet. com
