Check out Ne-Yo as he talks about Save The Last Last Dance 2, Executive Producing the Soundtrack and Life in General

So, lets talk about the Movie...

1. Tell me a little about the Film, Save The Last Dance 2?
Ne-Yo: Well, the film is a continuation of the first movie. Izabella Miko plays Sarah who..s studying at Juilliard. The movie is a combination of the classical world and Hip-Hop world.
On my part .. I play a character by the name of Mix. He..s the youngest club owner in the city and his club is the place to be.

2. Was this your first on screen acting role? And what was the experience like? Ne-Yo: Yes, this was my very first time ever acting. It was nerve racking at the beginning but the cast was great, they were very supportive, so at the end it was cool. I had a good time and it came out pretty good, if I must say. [laughs]

3. I heard you also served as Executive Producer of the soundtrack, how was that? Ne-Yo: Yeh, that was a cool experience as well. I was a little concerned at first with the whole title and all, but then they explained it to me that I was pretty much overseeing the direction of the soundtrack and the music, so it was cool.

4. I loved your first album and I think I speak for most of your fans. So, when can we expect another Ne-Yo album?
Ne-Yo: Be looking for it around Easter. I don..t exactly know what it..s going to sound like as yet though. I am still on the drawing board and just started recording some songs.

5. Where do you see yourself and your career in about 5 years?
Ne-Yo: To make a long story short, bigger and better across the board. I definitely still want to write for others; so pretty much everything that I am doing now on a bigger scale.

6. Where are you currently living?
Ne-Yo: Kind of Bicoastal now. I got a spot in ATL and one in LA. I..m honestly kinda diggin.. ATL. As for L.A. I like the place more than I like the people, they..re kinda phony.

7. What kind of Girl is Ne-Yo attracted to?
Ne-Yo: I like a girl with a nice body, not necessarily a six pack because I don..t think is feminine for a woman..s stomach to look like mine. Plus I am more of a hips and thighs kinda guy. She also has to have goals and be a smart girl, conversation is ..1 for me.

8. What is your best quality?
Ne-Yo: Besides the fact that I am a hard worker, I am the epitome of ..dust it off your shoulders... I am a very laid back dude.

9. What is your worse quality?
Ne-Yo: My concept of time is a little messed up. That..s why I appreciate my team, because they..re on point and keep me on top of things.

10. What..s in your CD player right now?
Ne-Yo: Justin Timberlake, Gnarls Barkley, Coldplay and Jodeci..s Greatest Hits.

11. What is your favorite love song?
Ne-Yo: That..s a hard one, there are too many. I would say anything Stevie Wonder or Luther Vandross have ever done.

12. What's the craziest thing a fan has done?
Ne-Yo: A fan broke into my room while I was away and waited for me.

13. What are some of the things that you do for fun outside of music?
Ne-Yo: I like to play video games. You know, regular people stuff. I..ll get a whole bunch of people together and go bowling or go to the movies.

14. If you weren..t a singer what would your career choice be?
Ne-Yo: I love anything artistic. I..d probably live in a studio in NY somewhere and wear dreadlocks and no shoes.

15. What..s your all time favorite movie?
Ne-Yo: There..s a bunch of them that I like, I don..t really have one. I love the 1st and 2nd Matrix, don..t really like the 3rd, also the 5 Heartbeats and Fightclub.

16. Are you into sports? What..s your favorite sport to watch and who..s your favorite team in the league now?
Ne-Yo: I like Basketball but I don..t have a favorite team anymore. And its been a long time since I..ve watched a game.

17. Any Tattoos? What are they and what do they signify?
Ne-Yo: Yeh, in both shoulders. On my left I have a tattoo of a Japanese symbol with a sun around it. It means to sing or entertain. On my right shoulder I have a tribal version of the pendant I wear around my neck, which stands for completion.

18. What's your favorite movie soundtrack?
Ne-Yo: Phantom of the Opera, I love that soundtrack.

19. If you had a chance to work with one last artist dead or alive, who would it be?
Ne-Yo: Prince. I love him. I don..t think I..ve ever heard a Prince song that I didn..t dig in some way. He..s a genius to me.

20. If you could be a superhero what superpower would have?
Ne-Yo: I would love to be able to fly. I would be the Flying Bum. I wouldn..t do anything; I wouldn..t even have a job. I would just fly around the world a few times.
