Located in Metro Pomona’s Art Colony at 264 W Third St., Savoie opened its doors on February 23, 2005. Friend and Academy Award nominated film production designer Tom Sanders, known for his work on Dracula, Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypto, designed the salon; it was furnished in part by Futures Collide. We had our first TV spot before a national audience on November 21, 2007, on Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares. Cherie provided the makeover for local restaurant owner Lela and got to shake hands with the show’s star, world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsey. On second Saturday Art Walk we have hair shows and photo shoots using local models and locations.We have hosted many Art Openings too.We took part in three projects with the SAE Art High School in 07 and look forward to future projects with the community.Downtown Pomona has many new businesses our neighbors DBA256 Winebar Gallery,Bunny Gunner ,Ink’d Chronicles to name a few for more info metropomona.com
CHERIE SAVOIE: Owner/Stylist started her career 15 years ago with Carton Hair International in Montclair, before moving on to Utopia in Upland. She loves creative color, bright reds, and modern haircuts. She attends Vidal Sassoon and Mopa (Mops Hair Academy) yearly.

SHEILA PILON: New on the hair scene, Sheila’s is in her second year in hair dressing. She is going strong and is very motivated to try new things. Her strong points are long hair, styling, artsy up do’s, and make-up. She attended MOPA in October and attended Vidal Sassoon in March.
