sawgrass is the umbrella under which James Harris Moore and a rotating cast of friends play. Sometimes he plays alone, sometimes with a full band, sometimes with just a friend or two. Micah Jones, Daniel Gerth, Julia Carruthers-Thorne, and Lixian Hantover have all joined James onstage at one point or the other. With the invaluable help of producer Rogers Masson, sawgrass finished recording their first album, "The Archipelago" in March of 2007.
