About Sawn-off Opera

Sawn-Off Opera is a new collaboration between composer Ailis Ni Riain and Writer/Librettist David Gaffney. We are collaborating on a set of Sawn-off Operas set in a hotel which will be premiered in 2008 and toured in 2009. These tales are wicked, sexy, very funny and downright bizarre. Flipping opera on its head to produce audible words within a colourful contemporary music setting. We are grateful to Arts Council England for their support.
