   About Saxon Sunday
we are saxon sunday and we connect with each other via the a30. the a30 is the thrid longest "a" road in britain. sometimes called the great southwest road, at 284 miles long, its an impressive stretch of tarmac. its the back bone of saxon sunday, a band that locate themselves around the a30, the are never far enough to not hear the beautiful drone of traffic. fans of motorways will be dissapointed at its lack of space at times, but it supplys many villages, shops and franchises with a healthy sum of drama, speed and traffic.

Here is a review of us by one of Basingstokes most respected music journalists Lyndon Edwardson, he is a mixture of Patrick Stump and Frank Gallagher and thanks to his review, we decided to change our genre, the way we dress, and more than that, our whole outlook on society and the bourgeouis indulgences our old selves would have once seen as pure. But why listen to us when you can hear the great man's words?

" SAXON SUNDAY... who are on and gone so quickly they could have been mistaken for roadies. They look nervous and they act nervous, we would have forgiven them for that if they were not so utterly shite. The music, which definitely sounds better on Myspace then live, sounds very Indie and is at odds with the Moshers, who use this time to go out and get some fresh air. The lead vocalist has no charisma, and totally separates the band from the crowd, which leads to the only movement in the crowd being the odd person going outside for a cigarette."

Nelson Mandela also described us as "shit beyond all belief" but he's not as well known as Lyndon so he doesn't get his quote in big letters.

Hey guys, can't wait for the gig tomorrow.
We should be able to bring our guitar amp, but it's not definate as yet so I'm asking in advance if it's ok to use yours (I'm asking the other two bands as well).
Like I said, we may still be able to get ours there, we just would like the saftey net, as it were.
Thanks,
Ben Wet Nun
