On Saturday 17th November at the wondrous watering hole that is Nambucca, we have the bouncetabulous Dexter headlining, with awesome supports in the likes of the tremendous Rum Shebeen, the folktastic The Prelude and the terrific Milk Kan
Oh yes! But as you know, it doesnt stop there, coz as always we spoil you. The very following day, we kick back, relax and sip dry sherry at the marvelous Monkey Chews. And are joined by the likes of the splendid Friends Of The Bride, the tremendous Looker, the ridiculously talented Jon Byrne and the truly brilliant Marcus Mumford

I don't know how much you know about the new UK music licensing laws, but basically the British government is changing the laws for live music in pubs, clubs etc. They plan to make it illegal for anyone, 1 or more persons, to play or sing in these venues without a valid music license, if you do you could be fined up to £20,000 or get 6 months prison sentence, a slight overkill I would say. This means no more live music as most of these places won't bother to get a license as they cost lots of dosh to get the venue up to scratch. I've signed a petiton that will be sent to Downing street, many people have in fact, if you agree maybe you could sign too, only takes a few seconds and it may keep live music alive and the next generation of talented musicians would be allowed to shine.
