Say It Aint Weezer is the country's premier Weezer tribute band.
Four guys, different hair-dos, different records, different tattoos, different instruments…
Founded by frontman Matthew Masini in early 2007, Matthew got together with a group of friends to pay homage to one of his rock icons, Weezer. The 4-some enjoyed immediate success playing the PDX underground. Inspired by fellow fans, Matthew decided to put together the ultimate Weezer Tribute band.
To fill out the Weezer rawk roster, Matthew got together with Phoenix native and guitar hero, Joe Ebner. West coast drum god [m@ttie]* was recruited to play drums and finally, local groove fiend Tyler Krebs was added to the fold to handle the Bass.
The band spent several months in a rehearsal room pounding out songs til the final product was deemed "rawk-ready". Say It Aint Weezer combines solid vocals and harmonies from all 4 members, a cosmic light show, and an unsurpassed live sound experience.
Featuring over 3 hours of Weezer classics, the boys take everyone on a time-warp back to the good ol' year of 1994 with a blistering romp thru the entire "Blue Album". The next stop features the sophmore album-release "Pinkerton", once again done in entirety cover to cover.
Additional hits from Maladroit, The Green Album and the new Red Album are rawked. B-sides classics like "Jaime" and Suzanne" are featured for the discerning Weezer fan.
