I'm trying to broaden my horizons a bit and listen to new things. | | Movies | Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, various Mel Brooks movies, Frida, Supersize Me, The Corpse Bride,The Little Prince, RENT, Labyrinth and, of course, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Amadeus, Amelie, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Breakfast Club, Raising Arizona, O Brother Where Art Thou?, All the Spider-Mans and others I can't remember right now. | | Television | Futurama, Simpsons, Invader Zim, Spongebob Squarepants, 30 Days, documentaries (especially about nature), the news, stand-up comedy, Who Wants To Be A Superhero?, The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. As you probably noticed, I like animated TV shows a lot. | | Books | I love books. My favorite one is probably still "The Gospel According to Larry." I like 1984 and things of that genre, probably because they appeal to the part of me that's scared that the world is going to end up like that. "Feed" by M.T. Anderson is an especially good dystopian novel for my generation. "Wicked" was amazing. I liked The Bell Jar, Princess, and The Crucible. I also loved Jeff Smith's "Bone" series. (Comic books count, right?) | | Heroes | John Muir, Frida Kahlo, Ani DiFranco, Mohandas K. Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and all the people who dedicated their lives to making the future a better place. Thank you. |

Well, I'm just... me. Where to start?

This should sum up where I stand on some important issues:
Yes, yes, very liberal. Vegetarian (but I'm not a fan of PETA), feminist, pro-choice, a supporter of GLBT rights, almost totally anti-war, concerned about the environment, and pretty much just a person who wants to make the future a better place. I can usually get along with people pretty well if they live their lives and don't impede other people from living the way they want.
I stand up for myself and the people that I care about. I have a strong distrust of authority and human beings in general most of the time because they've hurt me in the past. I'm loyal and I don't like backstabbers. I'm depressed sometimes, but I always dig my way out of it eventually. I'm very emotional and sensitive, but I try my best not to base important decisions entirely on my emotions. That's dangerous.
I also have a crazy, funny, hyper, silly side. Laughter is a powerful thing...
Right now.... I'm just a weird teenaged girl. I'm sort of stuck. I feel like I'm still waiting for my life to really begin.
I'm also in a lot of Myspace groups, and you can learn more about me by seeing who I affiliate with.
