Music & dance which I truly love, all types from classical to rock to gospel, jazz, blues etc... from the days of my parents to these current times of my grandchildren.
When my grandson Brodie plays his trumpet it overwhelms me of his talent & passion he has to be the best he can be. Many people are surprised when they find out how young he is. Than a few grandson's can play the guitar which they seem to want to conquer for their own pleasure & relaxation. There's Chris, Dave, Ryan, Brodie & Alexia who have grown attached to this instrument & they play pretty well. Brodie seems to be able to pick up any instrument & play it. And lets not leave Jona out who loves playing the drums.

Movies
Movies, movies there are so many out there with so many talented actors & actresses. There's quite a few that I really like such movies with actors & actresses as Mel Gibson, John Travolta, John Wayne, Katerine Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Susan Hayworth, Grace Kelley etc..., gosh there's so many & some new ones that have shown some very true talent.
Television
Some how sports was left out and thats an area we will find Casey at usually wrestling. This is his 5th year & he made state, so we shall see when that competition ends. So far Casey has won most of his matches. His passion is in body building. Dave is still involved with karate, he is a black belt & has won many championships. This has been Dave's passion for many years & eventually he wants to go to Japan to learn more but he is so busy with college & work that he doesn't have the time to be as involved as he would like to be.
Books
I have always loved books & through out the years have spent a pretty penny on some. Especially when we moved from Hawaii to Alaska in 1981. All books had to make the trip with us (not to smart due to the cost of the freight), I would not leave them behind. Now at times it is difficult for me to read because I always lose my train of thought & have to reread & reread over & over. I gusee I have too much going on in my mind that I can't concentrate. I used to read comic books under the covers when I was little. I could read at five years old as I went to an all girls school from kindergarden to tenth grade.
About me: Well here I sit & begin to think its all about me, finally. Somehow I feel a lost as to when it was about everyone else that surrounded me & not about me. The silence is unbearable at times & it makes me wonder if this is how it is after we leave this world. No thought of who we were as a very busy likable person. Do those we love actually seem to have forgotten who we were & how important we were to them when they were much younger & we were there for them no matter what the outcome was. Some how these dear ones are still in our hearts & minds more then ever. Life can be cruel at times when we become to feel some loneliness.
Finally I think it is all about me, if it wasn't for me their characters would not be as interesting & their accomplishments in life would not be as meaningful for them. For now everyone are all to busy trying to survive life & doing what they need to do to become better people
Who I'd like to meet: Create your own visitor map!
There are so very many persons on my agenda that I would have liked to have had the pleasure of meeting.
I still to this day have a very dear friend that I have had since I was a child. We keep in touch although we have both took separate roads in our lives & that in itself is one of the joys of friendship.
Spaghetti
A wealthy man was having an affair with an Italian woman for a few years.
One night, during one of their rendezvous, she confided in him that she was pregnant.
Not wanting to ruin his reputation or his marriage, he paid her a large
sum of money if she would go to Italy to have the child. If she stayed
in Italy,
he would also provide child support until the child turned 18.
She agreed, but wondered how he would know when the baby was born. To
keep it discrete, he told her to mail him a post card, and write
"Spaghetti" on the back. He would then arrange for child support.
One day, about 9 months later, he came home to his confused wife.
"Honey," she said, "you received a very strange post card today."
"Oh, just give it to me and I'll explain it later," he said.
The wife obeyed, and watched as her husband read the card, turned white, and fainted.
On the card was written "Spaghetti, Spaghetti, Spaghetti. Two with meatballs, one without."
