What can be said about this 22 year old? Samuell Benta was born in Southwark in South East London, only to move to North West London shortly after. From at a very young age Samuell had taken part in school choirs. With music talents such as playing the guitar, recorder and saxophone his teachers classed him as the “musical brat”. It was at the age of 10 where Samuell had his first rap performance at school with the alias ''MYSTER?OUS''. He took part acting in school productions and throughout this enjoyment Samuell became stronger as an artist, which landed him in a few TV roles, his most notable role is 'Will' the Black Ranger in 'Power Rangers Operation Overdrive'.
Hip-hop became a major influence to Samuell and it was around his teen years where he started to write music that was positive and enjoyable. He dosent see himself as an underground grimey artist, but as a bright, fun, funny, smooth artist that can attract audiences such as children and teenagers. In his lyrics he talks about girls, personal life, the streets and random subjects as he's quite spontaneous with his creative ideas. He describes his songs as ''very catchy''. Also a believer in God, Samuell has now turned to Gospel and aspires to be a man of righteousness, he now looks at his current tunes and wants to go inbetween the lines and tell people how God has changed his life for the better, he has the hope that people will follow in his footsteps with the lord Jesus Christ.
This young man has come a long way since his high schools years as he had quite a rough childhood. He has learnt from his mistakes and wants to show younger ones to take the right path in life and not to fall in to drugs or gun culture. He incorporates his life experiences and delivers positive messages throughout his music.
