Charities & organisations that test HUMANELY and not on animals. Click here for a list of the charities that are good and bad: http://www.peta.org.uk/cmp/viv-charlist.asp. We're not living in the 16th century anymore. Animal tests are cruel and futile. Millions of people die every year from side effects of medicine tested on animals. Click the Dr Hadwen Trust banner opposite for info on alternative humane tests that are more accurate and efficient.
I'm the editor of Black Velvet Zine - visit the Black Velvet website for more info at www.blackvelvetmagazine.com. Also go add the Black Velvet MySpace page to your friends list if you haven't already. www.myspace.com/blackvelvetmagazine.
Aside from editing the zine, doing interviews, reviewing shows, laying out the zine and a million other things to do with the zine, I also take a lot of concert photos and photos in general. I'm at my happiest when in a photopit with my Nikon D3 (and D2x).
This page is showcasing some of the photos I've taken. Check the photos section and the slide show below to see some of my faves.

I'm vegan and straight edge. I love animals too much to eat them (or wear them). I hate all forms of animal cruelty. Becoming vegan was one of the best things I ever did (if not THE best thing).
As the editor of Black Velvet, I'm a hard worker. I work on Black Velvet every day of my life. I have high standards. When I interview bands, I spend a long time working on GOOD questions. I pride myself in my ability to produce in-depth articles and interviews that both the band themselves and their fans and even the average reader will not only appreciate, but hopefully admire. I meticulously strive for questions the interviewee won't have been asked a ton of times before. I research, research, research. I'm a perfectionist always aiming for perfection.
As a concert photographer, a similar thing. I concentrate on taking the best photos as possible and am very hard-working. Most nights I have a show, I will come home, go through photos and put some on the Black Velvet website, often staying up till 3 or 3.30am (sometimes even 4am) to get them up quickly... before having to get up for work at 8am the next morning. Thank God for energy drinks.
I'm very passionate about what I do, and what I love to do. If I believe in something, I will always give 110%.
