About me: Boston Buddies / Southern California Boston Terrier Rescue (SCABTR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers who are abandoned, neglected, or abused and placing them in permanent, loving homes. We also accept dogs from private individuals, who for whatever reason must relinquish their Boston Terrier(s). Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers with loving permanent families, specifically interested in the breed. We do this by providing temporary foster care, necessary and reasonable medical treatment, personality assessments of the animals, and interviews and homechecks of potential adopters. Each dog is examined by a veterinarian and provided with all necessary and reasonable medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and put on heartworm preventative. We operate throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties.
