John comes from Theydon Bois, Essex but has spent the majority of his life in Northamptonshire. John has been playing in various acoustic duos and bands since a young age taking influence from artists such as Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Jack Johnson. John has a broad range of performance experience from being an acoustic soloist aboard a cruise ship in the Bahamas to performing Indian ragas on his sitar.
Dave Hodge Bass
Dave made an attempt to join a band at school when he was 12. Every instrument was taken except the bass guitar so he reluctantly took up the offer of playing what he initially thought a ‘boring instrument,’ Little did he know that this was to become his passion in life.
Over the years Dave has played in several bands with varying styles including soul, funk, blues, indie rock, jazz and electronic music. As well as being one of three with Scaramoose, Dave plays with a local funk/rock band ‘20past4’ and is also bass player for 'Sellaband' artist Ellie Williams.
John Eschbaecher Drums
John started hitting boxes at the young age of 8, he then had the privilege of moving on to playing drums at the age of 12. John is not only a versatile and inspiring drummer but also an experienced guitar player. To date John has played with 9 bands – some of which have written their own material - performing varied music from jazz to rock/pop.
