John comes from Theydon Bois, Essex but has spent the majority of his life in Northamptonshire. John has been playing in various acoustic duos and bands since a young age taking influence from artists such as Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper, Peter Green, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and Jack Johnson. John has a broad range of performance experience from being an acoustic soloist aboard a cruise ship in the Bahamas to performing Indian ragas on his sitar.
Clive Wade Funky Arse Bass
Clive Wade, comes from Banbury, within the Shire, home of the famous cake, cross and fine lady. Clive originally played guitar in various local bands but converted to bass after discovering the groove delights of Bootsy Collins, Flea, John Paul-Jones and co. Clive has played bass at many venues, festivals and universities around the midlands with the likes of Scallywag, Catfish and Wee Alex.
John Eschbaecher Drums
John started hitting boxes at the young age of 8, he then had the privilege of moving on to playing drums at the age of 12. John is not only a versatile and inspiring drummer but also an experienced guitar player. To date John has played with 9 bands – some of which have written their own material - performing varied music from jazz to rock/pop.

Scaramoose are a hard working, laid back trio with an amazingly fresh sound. Heavily influenced by a mixture of exciting styles including acoustic, blues and funk, Scaramoose have a particular passion for artists such as Ben Harper, G. Love, The John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd and Peter Green. With a mixture of covers and original material the band currently perform in popular venues across the country.
Past highlights for Scaramoose have included: Prize winners at the Gardening Club battle of the bands, Covent Garden, London. Support for Angus and Julia Stone plus return support for Carus and The True Believers. Main stage performance at the Maker Sunshine Festival, headline performance at the Great Hall, Dartington.
This constant hard graft has been recognized with interviews and air play by the likes of BBC Radio Devon, South Hams Radio and BBC Radio Bristol.
