Newspaper designer and part-time editor. Columnist and blogger. I am the less with which we try to do more.
Jason Isn't sure why he even keeps a personal profile anymore since he only ever checks the one for his music show. Posted at 5:30 AM Jun 23, 2008 view more
I keep a Livejournal blog for political, pop-culture and day to day content and a Blogger account for posting short fiction.
I also maintain the Unitarian Universalist Podcast Directory. Unitarian Universalism is a creedless religion; no particular set of religious views is required to be a member, just an open mind and respect for others' points of view, and a desire to pursue justice and improve the lives of others.
In that spirit, I share this link:
I've never met the woman, but her need is great. She's a victim of our nation's medical crisis, a woman who needs surgery but has been denied it by her insurance provider. I hope you'll do what you can to help her out. As the Torah says, whoever saves one life saves the entire world.
My political preferences lean very heavily toward Democrats and Greens, though I'll support just about any candidate who works toward tougher penalties against the offenders and stronger tools for helping victims of abuse recover without perpetuating the chain of abuse. That should be the first priority of any elected official -- of any human being -- rather than the afterthought it so often proves to be.
Who I'd like to meet: I see now this should be less star-struck than it was earlier. So ... people who share a dedication to making life as hard as possible for those who harm children; artistic types; and, generally, people who are on the moderate to liberal side politically and religiously. I DO have some friends who are on the conservative side, but if we're talking about being able to talk openly without someone getting called a fascist or amoral, common ground is ideal.
And I'd like YOU to meet the group doing the most important work in America today:
As promised, here are the new tracks, fresh out of the studio! (Click the play button below.) As an added bonus, if you visit our ReverbNation site and sign up for our mailing list (no spam, we promise), you will be able to download ALL of these songs FREE for a very limited time! Hope you enjoy the music and I look forward to seeing you at a show soon! As always, thank you for your support!
We're thrilled that you have become a 'friend!' We hope to woo you with song and see you evolve from 'friend' to über-fan soon enough. Check the tunes out on iTunes, they sound better there than on myspace. The link is on our main page.
Our new single "It's Not Me, It's YOU" will be out in December, ahead of the release of our sophomore album 'Manic Ghost.' Keep checking out page for upcoming contests, videos and previews of the new album.
You can still buy the old album on iTunes (and Rhapsody, Napster and many others) before the new one is released. If buy it, you're our best friends for life. Ha. You are quite blatantly badass, oh, new friend of ours. =)

Hey there! I'd like to invite anyone to listen to 4 tracks from the new BB&TD album on my profile.
If you really like what you hear, I'd like to make you a special offer for pre-order. Please contact me for more information. Thanks for looking into my music!
I finished proofing A Demon Awaits today. I'm very excited about the book. When the cover art is complete, the books will start rolling off the press!!!!
Hey, Jason! How are you? Are you still at the Sun. I've talked to Bri and Shane lately, via myspace, and have thought of those late-night, deadline-crunchers we used to pull. Man, those were fun! Hope you're doing well. What's new?
It finally rained here in NE. Now evertything is blooming.
Started line-editing yesterday and I forgot how much I can actually enjoy tinkering with sentences as I clean up my writing. Good thing. I'm going to be doing this for almost 2 months.
