Scared Girl is a writer, artist, musician & designer/craftsperson now living in the Bay Area. She lived in Seattle for years and part of her spirit is still trapped there. She also goes under the real life name of Linda Patricia Cleary and spent all of her childhood in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, Korea. She is actually writing this herself but isn't sure exactly why writing in third person seems to make sense.
She collaborates with other musicians such as Matthew Lavin of Fake French (which she is also in). She is currently recording her new album entitled, "I believe in ghosts" which should be completed in the year 2022. :) She is also in a hip-hop duo MC Make-Believe & Dr. Do and a million other absurd musical projects that range from techno to sludge metal based on Frank Herbert's Dune Saga...MegaSlut and Stilgar. Her next big goal is to become the next Peewee Herman and start filming a semi-kid's show called MAKE BELIEVE MANSION. It WILL happen!!
Scared Girl has been "making up" songs ever since she was 6 years old. She was inspired to start recording when she purchased a toy plastic piano for $19.99 that housed beats such as "Tango" and "Rhumba". She now owns a few of those wacky keyboards and sings & plays guitar along with the crazy beats. But also does lots of songs "sans" toy keyboards. She used to record her albums through a 4-track...but has recently upgraded to recording digitally and plays with a more advanced "drum machine" too! Whoa.
Linda Patricia Cleary has recently finished her first novel! Part one of a sci-fi trilogy and currently working on the next two...hopefully you will see her books soon at your neighborhood book store!
