Scarlet Androgyny is an Atlanta based five piece set that is quickly setting themselves apart from the rest of the Atlanta scene. Their strong ideology and highly expressive lyrics have received surreal and enthusiastic responses from crowds everywhere. SA has opened up for acts such as Wednesday 13, Retard-O-Bot, and more. Their first single entitled, "The Calling," was featured on Atlanta radio station Project 9-6-1's "Project Homegrown." They can also be found in several issues of "Creative Loafing." They have gained quite a reputation from their controversial message, on-stage antics, and theatrical performances. From quirky outfits to breaking instruments, Scarlet Androgyny never fails to entertain and put on a performance that is not easily forgotten.
SA can currently be found in the studio putting the finishing touches on their debut album, that as of now remains untitled. With Merchandise, their first album, and much more on the way, the band continues to persevere and bring new ideas to their ever changing sound and performances.
