Music, Anthropology, Art, food.. mmmm... food. I also try to get out of town as much as possible. I enjoy camping, taking random road trips and finding interesting places where I can hike or paddle around. Training for my triathlon is fun.

Find out @ She's Crafty | | Music | Well, I've got kind of a thing for David Bowie and right now I'm likeing Annie, Bjork, The Books, Buttersprites, Caribou, Chevelle, Codebreaker (From Milwaukee!), Collections of Colonies of Bees (also from Milwaukee!), The Dials, The Decemberists, Gorillaz, Dressy Bessy, Ladytron, The New Pornographers, The Prodigy, Punjabi MC, Walter Meego, world music and almost anything they'll play on WMSE Radio Milwuakee. I'm usually not so good at articulating what music I like and I usually have fairly wide taste. Latley I've been finding some good local bands to see. The Cactus Club is a cramped and awkward shack, but it knows how to rock out. They know how to get great bands and it's much better than it looks. It's worth checking out. | | Movies | (shrug) Not a lot of good stuff out there. I haven't seen anything really good latley, I don't watch a lot of movies. What's in my cabinet? Let me think... Ghost in the Shell, The Revolutionary Girl Utena (The Series), Hellcab, The Gods Must Be Crazy (I and II), Perfect Blue, Jurrassic Park, Blair Witch Project, Labyrinth, Fargo, Underworld... and I can't think of any more off the top of my head. | | Television | I don't have time... Ghost Hunters, I guess. We've also been renting the complete series' DVDs for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dead Like Me, Queer As Folk, The L-Word, Ghost in the Shell, Big Love and other shows we just never got around to watching when they were one (or didn't have HBO when they premiered). | | Books | Clan of the Cave Bear and etc by Jean Auel. Just really well researched stuff, very vivid.

About me:

And if I don't hear from you ever again, don't expect to stay on my list. But don't let all that discourage you, I'm actually quite friendly....
I got married Sept 29th, so that's pretty exciting to me. I'm a runner, and I've just completed my first triathlon which was the most fun thing EVER! I used to listen almost obsessivly to WMSE Radio when I was in Milwaukee (Try the link for streaming radio.) Otherwise I visit my Little Sister (with BBBS) and my other friends out of town on occation.
ALLRIGHTY THEN! My religion: (Because there has been some confusion, otherwise I wouldn't bother with this kind of thing.)
I shall attempt to explain this detail of myself using that sometimes flawed system we call language. I use labels since it's a heckofalot easier than sitting you down for 28 years to try and explain it too you fully.
I am an Eclectic Pagan: Specifically, generally pantheist/polytheist, optimistically agnostic, with a string of pagan influences. These include: Wicca, Animism/Shamanism, chaos and others.
"Witch" works (since witchcraft does figure into that somewhere.) In any case, it's an ever-learning experiance so these labels are fairly useless in the grand scheme of things.
If you're confused either ask me or get over it.
