Scarlet Dew was founded early 2004 by Senne & Arne with the sole purpose of making very greasy meaningless hardrock with a touch of doom. They were joined by Kristof, Jan & Thierry and began writing some songs. Thierry left the band so we continued without a singer for quite a while. We did two tryout gigs in the spring of 2005 with Sebbe as interim singer & Wim replacing Kristof. Both gigs went rather well so Wim decided to stay. After a long and hard search to find a Scarlet voice, we found Peggy.
Now the band was complete it became time to record our first demo and after some arguing about which songs would be on it, we finally hit the studio in April 2006.
The recording went rather smooth 'though we didn't expect so many delays afterwards.
But all complaining aside, everything turned out fine, we made a kick ass demo, the artwork is superb and the first comments weren't too bad either.

HYPNOSIS is really happy and proud to announce that they have inked a deal with DARK BALANCE RECORDS (NL) for the worldwide release of their last album « The Synthetic Light Of Hope » with a new mastering done at MAILMEN STUDIO in Holland (Dreadlock Pussy, Eluveitie, Slechtvalk, etc.) in October 2009 as follow :
