'BETTY HARLOW - vintage inspirations",a new label for a new direction.
Scarlet Rose has been creating unique and exciting designs in clothing,accessories and jewellery since 1991.
The designer,Rosemary,is the creator behind such Brisbane based stores as Urban Rumour,Scarlet Renaissance,Closet Art and,since 2002,Scarlet Rose.
The last store in Caxton Street has now closed,and Rosemary is now in the planning stages with Marion C. for their new joint label "BETTY HARLOW - vintage inspirations" featuring lots of pretty and pastels.Enquiries can be made on 0405228763 during the hours of 9am -6pm 7 days a week.
THE LAST STORE:HISTORY
Rosemary designs and retails her creations from the beautiful and bohemian 'boudouir' shop in the hub of one of brisbane's major fashion areas.
At present the shop stocks an eclectic range of stunning and extremely feminine women's garments,jewellery,bags,gift ideas and a gothic flavoured alternative section with corsets,tights,bowler hats and other assorted goodies for those more sartorialy adventurous moments.The range is increased with the addition of the occassional "guest designers" displaying their wares.Many gorgeous items can be ordered for you from catalogues on display at the store(some very sexy shoes,lingerie,pvc and leatherwear and the like)
From stunning formal ensembles thru leatherwear and straightjackets,Rosemary has seen and done it all within the realms of fashion and body adornment.
