♥ People who embrace their inner weirdness.
♥ Being with the people that I love and making them laugh.
♥ Bright colors
♥ HIGH heels to cure this 5'2" nightmare

♥ Smelling the dish & laundry detergents at WalMart.
♥ Cuddling
♥ Being loved
♥ Being in love
♥ Watching TRUE Christians worship God. It's one of the most beautiful things in the world. In my opinion.
♥ My bed
It's where I go when I need to get away from the world.
♥ People who talk just for the sake of hearing themselves.
♥ Closed Minds.
Without an open mind you'll never learn anything.
♥ People who lack social etiquette and/or don't understand social cues.
There are four words that really do make all the difference in this world. "Please," "Thank you," & "I'm sorry."
♥ Pious People. Especially the ones that don't know what it's like to be humbled.
A little humility is a good thing, it reminds us we're human.
♥ People who push religion. I have a soap box that you do NOT want me to get on.
♥ People who don't know how to fucking drive.
On June 28, 2008 Butter (my little Chevy Lumina) died on McDonald Parkway.
All because some asshole decided to slam on their breaks in bumper-to-bumper traffic. I can no longer drive my baby, due to a severely cracked window shield.
Sobbing, I had to see me little girl get towed, knowing that she was going to have to be "totaled out". (Yes, I know. I love my car too much.)
♥ The smell of mothballs. You want to get me out of the room fast (or at least sick to my stomach), break out the mothballs.
♥ Disrespect.
I repeat, four little words get you everywhere. Scroll up if you have to.
♥ People that think it's okay to hit their animals.
If you think it's okay to hit your animal, then you deserve to have the Animal Cops show up on your doorstep and take Rover or Fluffy away from you.
Just because something looks cute, doesn't mean it's not vicious:
I'm still looking for my soulmate.
He's out there somewhere. I can feel his presence, but have not met the man.
I look for him in all of the crowds I walk in.
I am not worried, because I know when I see him I'll recognize him.
He'll be one in the center of the crowd, shining brighter than the sun, and laughing.
Your life is guided by the concept of Existentialism: You choose the meaning and purpose of your life.
“Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does.”
“It is up to you to give [life] a meaning.”
--Jean-Paul Sartre
“It is man's natural sickness to believe that he possesses the Truth.”
--Blaise Pascal
"What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean can reach into it?
What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me?
What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and the impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?
But I am done with this creed of corruption.
I am done with the monster of 'We,' the word of serfdom, of plunder, of misery, falsehood and shame.
And now I see the face of God, and I raise this god over the earth, this god whom men have sought since men came into being, this god who will grant them joy and peace and pride.
This god, this one word:
'I.'" - Anthem, Ayn Rand
No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
- Friedrich Nietzsche
"You know me and Jesus we're off the same heart, the only thing that keeps us distant is that I keep fucking up." - "Shame on You," Indigo Girls
Music
Music is an intricate part of my life.
I love all kinds of music. From Holst to Megadeth.
But there is a special place in my heart just for Metal.
I'm known to fall in love with an artist and their work, listen to it obsessively. After that I'm bored, and need a new fix.
Music isn't just sound to me. It's a drug.
Listen to it.
Love it.
Learn it.
Let it into your soul.
Don't think about it, just go with it.
My birth name really is Ember Rose.
Welcome to my Garden of Thorns.
I am a mess of dichotomies.
The Analytical and the Creative:
I analyze what is creative, and create patterns out of the analytical.
The Carnal and the Human side of me:
I am civilized, but embrace the side of me that is animalistic.
Ego and People:
I am belligerent and a brat, however I am kind and generous.
Head and Heart:
My head and heart never meet in any means. I play the part of strong so that people won't see me cry. I always feel like an outsider looking in.
Reality and fantasy:
My feet are firmly placed on the ground, but my head is always in the clouds.
The Beautiful and the Ugly:
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yes. But even the “ugly” can capture a certain amount of beauty. And what is beautiful is often a façade for what is repulsive.
I am currently trying to make my outsides match my insides.
I am always a work in progress.
I bury my grudges in very shallow graves.
Want to enter my back yard?
When I love, I love with all my heart. And when I fall, I fall hard.
I may have left pieces of me behind, but you can never say I didn't try.
Blessed be a broken heart.- Me (Ember Rosie)
Don't be put off if I'm in your face,
I was given a VOICE & a CHOICE,
and refuse to go through this life
constantly being put in MY place.
- Me (Ember Rose)
Here is one man that always made me laugh. RIP George Carlin.
This video made me shiver the first time I heard it, and I still shiver. It sings so true.
