A seventh album will be released in Autumn 2008.
"Strange songs playing, so darkly chanted
With words that I feel but don’t understand"
Scarlet’s Well is a band of eccentrics for eccentrics, dandies, grannies, choir boys, mariners, twee poppers and indefatigable travellers. The music should ideally be experienced under a flickering light with a glass of fine mead in the company of fey maidens and prattling moles...alternatively, go and see them live…you will come out with naughty little fairies nibbling at the musical bits of your brain!
We’re playing at Electrowerkz in Angel on Sat 21st June at 8.30pm. It’s our first time playing there and could really use your help to play there again. Tickets are only £6 (less than the cost of 2 Magners!) which gives you 3 bands + free entry to the club night after…and it’s my birthday that night too…so all the more reason to come!
Please click on the link below for a flyer or let us know if you’ll be coming and we’ll leave tickets at the door for you.
Forgot to mention that we’re also planning on giving more CD’s away too!
I had no idea there was life after the Monochrome Set (head in the sand etc). This sounds wonderful. I hope you come to Leicester (Lester?) soon ... If you're interested, our songs are sometimes compared with the incomparable MS - but see what you think. Adieu x
Hi Bid, thanks for getting back to me. definitely will get down to the gig on thursday, going to get a taxi across town after my gig....looking forward to it
Greetings our british brothers and sisters! We have a new song on our myspace page if you'd like to have a listen. It has a naughty word in the title, so we had to censor it to keep mr Murdoch from being offended.
You were great in Norrköping! Too bad everyone stayed at home that night, I've been telling everyone I know that they missed the best band ever... Hope you'll be back so they get another chance!
