Bio
Raised in a remote and rural town in Mississippi, Scarlett was attracted to the life of the stage at a very early age. She started singing in church when she was three, was singing with a bluegrass/gospel group by age five, and shortly thereafter, she got a touch of the "BIG time!" Scarlett had an "IN" that most do not have. Her father is the legendary Bob Wootton, guitarist for Johnny Cash since 1968. Scarlett was nine years old when she was asked to go on stage with Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash while in Branson, Missouri. June turned around and said to Bob, "She don't need a microphone. What a big voice for such a little girl!" From that moment on Scarlett was hooked. "I used to get these tall, red boots out of my Momma's closet and tie a belt around a really long t-shirt for my stage outfit. Then I would get my hairbrush and head to the living room to put on my concert. One of my favorite "sets" was Dolly Parton's "Slow Dancing With the Moon" album. I loved it! And my Mom was always good about giving me my space to dream." At eighteen, Scarlett moved from Mississippi to Oklahoma City where she began performing the Opry circuit there and in Texas. Two years later, she was on a plane to Ireland to open a month long tour there. The next year, she moved to Nashville. As Fate would have it, Scarlett is now the opening act for "The Tennessee Three" (aka "The Johnny Cash Band"). In 2005, Scarlett appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live". "Vision of Loneliness", her first album, was released in April of 2008 and she toured Sweden in November of that same year where she performed with Swedish star Peter Jezewski of the 80's group "The Boppers". By 2009, she opened for country star Josh Turner and played the House of Blues numerous times. With Dreams that have turned to reality, she can now be seen playing on stages all over the world... Los Angeles, New York City, Las Vegas, Canada, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, England, Scotland.. maybe even someplace close to you. This is one fast rising young star to keep your eye's on. Scarlett is currently writing and recording for her next project and also touring the world. -

Sad seeing the name calling & hate on Twitter. Just bc I don't agree w/ ur lifestyle doesn't mean I hate. Please don't call my God names.

PERSONAL NOTE FROM SCARLETT:
I just want to thank everyone for stopping by my page. I spend many hours a week responding to messages, reading comments, and checking out the pages of people who have added me. Not to discourage anyone from posting the wonderful things that are happening to them in their careers on my page, but please do not use my page to advertise trackers, porn-sites, yada-yada-yada... After all, this is MYspace ;) Thank you!
