    .. The band, formally known as "Requiem", has been formed in the year 2000 . Just like every band we were struggling to find the style that was suitable for us. After a few lign-up changes and style change we found out that we were more into Trashmetal and continued this way. ..In 2004, during the recording of our first demo entitled "Inner Scars", we decided to change the band's name into SCARRED because it fitts the agressiveness of our music. ..The demo had a lot of success, so we played lots of gigs also with big bands like Holy Moses from Germany or King's Evil from Japan. ..The new songs are more melodic and even more aggressive then before. Modern Melodic Thrashmetal with slightly progressive influences gives our music the different edge to stand out of the mass. ..We decided that we needed a second guitar player and finally, after a long period of searching, Bertrand joins the band who completes the line-up and expands the sound!! ..Sacha Breuer joins the band as new singer and the band is working on new material. ..Stay tuned for a new record and a gig close to you very soon! ..Our first full lengt album 'New Filth Order' is out now!!! Furthermore Scarred had been selected to perform on the Metalcamp Festival this year performing with greats like Kataklysm, Down, Amon Amarth amm.
