Hi I am Donnie who has started a band called Scars Left By Time and I want to thank you for taking the time to listen to my demos. I want to make a Christian band that really glorifies god in a heavier sense. I believe that god will influence this band movement. But it's going to take some time and a lot of work but it will happen. I believe in God and want to explore that idea through the sound of music.

Yes, that does sound great. My concern however would be the location and transportation. Hopefully he lives nearby me so that maybe he can pick me up. You gotta find out where he lives! How did you find him on msg? Or was it vice versa?
Ya, no problem! So i see that you're still most likely using your parent's pc? I was looking for a drummer in my area then in yours and i found one but he's already in a band + isn't Christian, and so it was w/ some other metal band looking for a rhythm guitar player but they weren't Christian (at least it didn't look so or had nothing that would mention that). So it is tough man! :(
That sux that your pc went down! I heard that there's a very deadly (pc) virus that will crash your hard drive w/ no recovery and it's being sent in e-mails w/ "Hallmark" greetings or something (so from what i've read don't open any Hallmark e-mails from anyone!) Yeah, of course, but it's kinda hard (to find them!)!
I see. You know when you go to Help on your GP, then Index, then you'll be able to find it step by step, but i haven't done that myself cuz i pretty much have it figured but i guess it's still helpful anyway! So, are you still looking for people to play w/?
Thanx, I wouldn't be able to play those songs in Drop C. The lowest my tuning would go w/out going out of tune (real) fast would be Drop C sharp/D flat. I have GP5 version, and it has a lot of new cool features, like there's this "Legend Tones", and they have some famous guitarists tones (like Kirk Hammet, Joe Satriani, Hendrix, etc). Yeah, I'm still figuring it out and there's a lot of features to get to. I think a good way to start for you is going to Help and get started. Also, there's tons of GP files at Ultimate-guitar. com and also Power tabs which you can transfer to GP through GP5 (so that means you can play PTB on GP5). So what version of GP do you have?

But from your answer I could see that you still didn't answer those other questions that i asked you, so i'm gonna repeat: What are the (guitar) tunings in those vids? Let's see what else? Oh, Guitar Pro or Power Tabs, do you have any guitar (tab) software?
Oh, forgot to tell you this: Please, practice w/ a metronome! It is so important, and then if you can find some drum tracks or a drum machine, please do so. It is probably the most important thing is to learn how to keep up w/ the drums. I must do the same! (cuz you know you can be real good and everything, but then when the time comes to play along w/ the drummer you would suck, I know this personally!) (btw, i just listened more closely and i think your stuff is good, and w/ the 2nd guitar it could be even better!)
Whazzup once again?! I don't think i have ever asked you this: Do you have Guitar Pro or Power Tabs? You know the guitarist from ABR writes the music through some program like that, then sends it to the other guy and that's how they learn it, and i think that's a cool way to do it, cuz you can just play along w/ the program. Also, what are the tunings on those songs in your vids?

Yeah, i understand! I'm kinda the same in a way (that's i decided that you should do it! :)) Esp. over the phone when i don't know that person or don't know them well. In his info, he said that he's not much into metal, so i don't know, but i'll contact him, and see if he'd be interested.
