    ..Being the Southern Rock band that is the farthest North in the United States, Scattergun refers to their sound as Seattle Southern. Scattergun definitely gives a hearty nod to Southern rockers old and new, such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers and the Drive-By Truckers. Signatures of the style can be heard in the dueling guitars, harmony leads, riff-heavy songs and the focus on story-telling. On the other hand, one can definitely tell that Scattergun embraces the influences of all the great bands that have come out of their current home in Seattle. With a dark, grinding low end over the solid thump of heavy beats is where you can feel the North meeting the South; and this is the spot where all who have seen Scattergun agree that the good times are waiting to happen. .. .. ............ .. .. .. .... .. .. .... .. .. .... .. .. ..
