What is SceneDiego?
I guess we are best summed up as "Street Performers." Except we go out and perform in the masses and never reveal who we are, and what we are doing. Our Missions are best pulled off, leaving people wondering what is going on.
So what's the point of our madness you ask?
To have a good time - and bring smiles and laughter (and almost always confusion) to everybody around us.
How did all this chaos start?
Agent Neil (aka Andy) started the group in February 2008. Inspired by Charlie Todd's Improv Everywhere, SceneDiego takes the same concept, and executes original missions.
How do I join?
Well, first you need to move to San Diego. Next, you go to our website and click on JOIN: http://scenediego.org then... when you get an email about a new mission, you show up. It's really that simple.
Who I'd like to meet: Pranksters, jokesters, and all around fun people.
If you would like to join our team as one of our "Undercover Agents" just submit your email address to us and we will notify you when we have a new mission planned.
Agent Ginger Star, the fearless leader of our musical mission, is playing a benefit concert at Coronado Playhouse this Saturday night!!
Her co-hort in this very fun, very casual, very light and loose night is none other than our musical mission guitar-man, Stretch.
Together they're called Throwback To Now. If you just want to show up it's $10. If you're strapped, send a message to "Chrissy" up there in Top Friends if you'd like to be put on the 'Pay What You Can' guest list.

Hey, sorry i havent been able to be at any missions lately, with such high gas prices, plus the fact that i drive an old truck, i cant make it to everyone. I've been saving up money and ill be at the next one i think. see ya then!
After a Banana Wireless representative—dressed in a banana suit—was escorted out by mall security for "soliciting bananas," the gig was up. Most participants sat down, ate their bananas and went on their way. ~~~~~~~~~
