Founded in 1990 and serving the Fox Cities, Green Bay, Oshkosh, and the surrounding areas, the Valley Scene positioned itself as a free monthly publication. It’s focus was the arts, the entertainment scene, and politics.
Initial acceptance created an immediate response from readers and advertisers in the marketplace. Gutsy cover stories combined with thought-provoking features and a fresh journalistic style quickly worked to establish the newspaper's credibility.
