Welcome! I am Scott Buel, the grandson of photographer Gene Buel. The idea for .. scenesfromthepast.com.. was born out of wanting to preserve my Grandpa’s photo collection and also out of my genuine love for the history contained in his images.
A few specific highlights of .. our collection.. include photos of the Grand Trunk Railroad, the Detroit Western Railroad, Gar Wood speedboat and racing pictures, the Boblo boats, the photos of Louis Pesha, and much more.
