SCHACK has been in the forefront of the Danish clubbing and hiphop scene for years. Doing Mid Week Brakes for 6 years, the most succesful wednesday club ever in Denmark bringing in massive hiphop acts and flavours of the world. Vi er meget stolte over at kunne præsentere det andet hovednavn til årets festival:
Den amerikanske rapper Bun B fra Port Arthur, Texas er en legende inden for Dirty South-genren. Sammen med nyligt afdøde Pimp C udgjorde Bun B duoen UGK, som siden 1992 har nydt stor kommerciel og kunstnerisk succes og i dag ses som den væsentligste inspirationskilde til den succesfulde sydstatsrap med navne som Ludacris, Chamillionarie og Paul Wall i front.
Som solokunstner har Bun B udgivet to albums. Seneste album er II Trill fra 2008, som der debuterede på førstepladsen på den amerikanske Billboard-hitliste.
Bun B er en af de mest reflekterende og intelligente rappere på den amerikanske scene lige nu og har samarbejdet med alt fra de mest gangster dirty south rappere over reflekterende backpacker-idoler som Talib Kweli og superstjerner som Jay-Z og Scarface.
