Schak is a Richmond, VA based experimental rock band dedicated to providing engaging live experiences from dance to sentiment to comedy. We're constantly persevering and always on the search for new opportunities to expand our sound while keeping it real to our dedicated fans. Schak is John Koschak, Sam Friedman, and Chris Thomas. The group has roots in Rock, Jam, Ambience, Funk, Psychedelic, and Progressive with subtle tastes of Reggae, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and more. They have performed at venues such as The National, The Canal Club, The Camel, Alley Katz, Artist Underground Café, 37th & Zen, and many more.
