San Francisco innovator Dave Aju has been producing and performing his unique brand of electronic dance music for nearly a decade. He seasons traditional elements of house and techno with a blend of outside musical influences, notably free jazz and p-funk, a low-slung aesthetic clearly rooted in hip-hop, and an organic sonic approach akin to Musique concréte.
In the same vein as Matthew Herbert, he has made his fascinating debut album "Open Wide" entirely with sounds of his mouth. Further just realesed an Ep on accidental records and a nice remix for Pigeon Funk !
We are proud to bring the man for our grand opening of our new club Body Heat to the Auslage for his first performance in Austria.
