About me: I'm a small and very freindly neighborhood joint in a quaint drinking town with a slight hurricane problem. I've been in continuous operation in one incarnation (butcher shop, grocery store, bed & breakfast, cafe', bar, laundrymat) or another since 1899!(except during hurrications!) I've got the most reasonable prices on sit-down lunches and dinners of well-made food in town and most importantly I'm a focal point for the Marigny-Bywater-St. Roch neighborhoods; a place where folks can come and find out what's really going on; over coffee, over a po-boy or a full meal, over drinks.... You can still smoke a cigarette with your meal here, too.
Who I'd like to meet: Anybody who's hungry for the important aspects of N'Awlins life: Good music, good food, and mostly, strange, unique, and "lust-for-life" NOLA characters.
