Schnax is where Party DJ’s and our Hard Working Crew get together to share their music and energy and insist on some seriously good partying with the punters. Starting with some chunky beats..moving on to dance and NRG…AND FINISHING ON A HIGH WITH XXX.
Kelly and Nick dreamt up Schnax and made it happen. Mike E Mike and Selina helped make everything come together with the PA, backdrops, etc. The first Schnax began with a few friend's email addresses and the will to make it work. 220 people came to Croydon on a Bank Holiday Sunday (some time in August I think).
Back then there were only 2 DJ’s, Beatnik (Nick Wyllie) and Ripgroove (Matt Heyman). Mike E Mike and @1 joined them for the next few Schnax Parties – now we have at least 6 wicked DJ’s playing at any one party, including Lunatic Fringe, Technojunky, Jumpin Jay, DJ Gerry, DJ Ray and Little Monster with the Occasional Special Guest Appearances by DJ Charlie Rox (Tolerance, Tilt). Shaune and Sarah (bless them) have hosted every fantastic after party and we haven’t stopped since!!!
