About me:
Schnittstelle
Mastering & Vinylschnitt
was founded by Andreas Kauffelt in 2003.
Located in Frankfurt-Germany Schnittstelle is specialized for Vinylcut, Vinyl-premastering, CD Mastering etc...
Main engineers:
Andreas Kauffelt &
Thomas P. Heckmann.
Both wellknown for their past & present productions and together they have over 40 years of experience in music production,
composing, recording & mastering.
Our mastering room contains the best in custom made analog
& digital sound processing and a worldclass monitoring & studio acoustic.
It is possible to transfer your recording
with the shortest possible signalpath
to our optimised neumann cutting lathe.
We can give your thin and cold digital recording
some colour, room, definition, groove, loudness and warmth if needed.
Additional services are:
CD mastering, Track mastering, DJ Mix CD..s,
recording from Vinyl and 1/4" Tape incl. decrackling and denoising.
Mp3 encoding.
Sound consultant services during the production of artist albums. Mastering of DJ mix cds.
Online mastering & re-mastering.
