Was erfolgreich im Jahr 2001 mit dem Album „Erwacht“ begann und 2003 mit „Glamour“ unterstrichen wurde, soll nun fortgesetzt werden. Nach fünf Jahren Achterbahnfahrt zwischen Manie und Depression, Rückschlägen und Lichtblicken hat sich der stetige Wunsch, nein Wille durchgesetzt und eine neue Kraft erweckt. Eine Einheit, die darauf drängt, auf die Masse losgelassen zu werden, um ihren „Schatz“ zu präsentieren, den Schweiß zu schmecken und die Strasse zu spüren, wie sie es schon oft auf diversen Festivals, z.B. dem Mer’a Luna und dem WGT oder den unzähligen Show’s mit In Extremo, Subway to Sally,
The Inchtabakotables und vielen anderen Bands getan haben.
Und wer einmal in den Genuss eines Konzertes kam, der mag erahnen, wie SCHOCK darauf brennen, ihren dritten Longplayer „HALT STILL“ in ihrer ganz besonderen, hochenergetischen und emotionalen Performance gebührend zu zelebrieren, so dass Körper und Geist nicht mehr zur Ruhe kommen wollen.
Es darf wieder geschockt werden......

Frontman and Bandleader Michael Schock invites you to a lyrical, melancholy and almost frightening journey, passing hard grooves, acherontic melodies and rousing hooklines. Diverse and experimental. Emotional depth always on the run to escalate into brute, furious anger. Schock are inventing themselves anew, creating a fresh, modern kind of gothic rock. They trespass virgin lines without forgetting traditional aims.
The new longplayer continues what has started with "Erwacht" in 2001 only to move on with "Glamour" in 2003. After five rollercoasting years filled with mania and depression, backlashes and gleams of hope now a constant wish and will breaks through to set free even stronger power. Their unity is longing to face the crowd and present its treasures. They are longing for the sweat of music and the feeling of the road which they have tasted so many times before on festivals all over Germany (e.g. Mer'a Luna, WGT) and on countless gigs with "In Extremo", "Subway to Sally", "The Inchtabakotables" and many more great bands.
All those who ever had the opportunity to join a Schock-concert can imagine how the members of the band are aching to present their brandnew longplayer "HALT STILL" (german for: Hold still!) live in the special, highly energetic and emotional way Schock is famous for. A performance can be expected which will leave body and soul in commotion.
