We are happy to announce that the latest addition to the Do The Dog Music stable of bands is fast rising Nottingham based outfit Jimmy The Squirrel!
Together sine 2005, this 5 piece crew kick out a raw & rootsy, stripped down ska/reggae vibe in the vein of Chris Murray, Bedouin Soundclash & The King Blues.
Their highly infectious sound boasts heartfelt, soulful vocal harmonies underpinned by killer old school keyboard melodies & spaghetti westernesque guitar licks!
Due out soon on Do The Dog Music is Jimmy The Squirrel’s debut 4 song self titled CD EP.
You can check out one of the tracks from the EP, "Music We Throw", on the Do The Dog Music Myspace page at http://www. myspace. com/dothedogmusic & also the other 3 EP tracks, "This One’s For You", "Two Too Many" & "Seat Up High", plus 2 live Jimmy The Squirrel videos at www. myspace. com/jimmythesquirrel
