schreck's Interests
General
Everything. No, really. Except the broad and commonplace. (I.e. I'm not a commerical radio fan nor do I much care for anything on MTV. Or anything easy. Sorry. [But not really.])
Music
Lovitt Records, Dick Spottswood and Eddie Stubbs on WAMU, lots and lots of "math rawk," Hearts of Space, "The System" on XM Radio, kick-azz classic rock (ala Jaxx).
Movies
Favorites and superlatives scare me, I believe something of value can be found in almost anything, given its scope and goal.
So that while I adore anything by DA Pennebaker or Jordowsky, you're just as likely to find me digging on Terminator Three.
Television
Extras, Frontline, House, American Experience, anything by HBO films--particularly its documentary arm, Jeopardy.
Books
Currently: Julian (Vidal), Stranger in a Strange Land, War and Peace
Heroes
My parents.
