Schumann's Humanns formed in 2008 to play Schumann's Kinderszenen. After slaving away on arrangements of the music, Michael brought these fine musicians together in the hope that his arrangements sounded good. His intention was to use these amazing pieces of music as spring boards for improvisation. But he also wanted to preserve the original feeling of each piece. A difficult challenge but a very worthy cause.
