Musical influences come from a lifetime of classical, 60s-80s rock, electronica, and world/folk music from many countries (South America, Russia, Japan, Ireland, ...) A few influential names are: Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream, Loreena McKennitt, Yamasaki Hako, Tears for Fears, Enigma, J.S. Bach, Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Beethoven, Haydn, Sibelius, Stravinsky.
The venture "SchwanSongs" is where Drakonis writes and publishes his own musical compositions, usually classically-based music of sweet longing and hope... music that is meant to transcend language and cultural differences and stir the soul of the listener. Drak's musical interests span a wide variety of musical genres, including, classical, world, ambient, electronica, and rock and blues.
News: Schwansongs released his first Music Video on DVD, with a high-quality computer-generated (ray-traced) video animation that accompanies the electro-pop "Depeche Mode"-like original music, "Dance of the Technoids". Extra features on the video feature the guitarist Ian Beardsley doing a live performance, a 12 minute interview where the author gives some history, early storyboards, and describes the music-writing and computer-animation process for creating the video, and a sneak-peek trailer of the next upcoming music video, "Fractal Serenity." This video was available on-line from "The Lost Records" record store for $9.95, but is temporarily unavailable since the demise of the store (alternative publishing venues are in the works.)
In the mean time, you can get a low-quality peek of the music video here (and others on my YouTube channel): If you would like to venture into some of my more experimental computer/synthesizer works, drop by my "ic42" page here.
Hello Eduard. Forgive the little spamette but I'm just trying to get the word out that my new album is now available! It's been a long haul but I'm very proud of how it sounds.
Thanks to you for accepting. Your work is great too. In fact the lovely voice on my track is done by Liovaine. I had (and will have again) the chance to work with Her. We will probably play live together in September. Nice to meet you, and as we say in France "a plus".

Myspace deleted my account for nothing but.. "you stole the name of Birdman & Lil Wayne, you can't do that." What can I do? I decided to get back again now after probably 8 months and we'll see...
Thanks for finding me! I’m grateful. What a very nice comment, I'm flattered and honoured since I listened to your work! You're quite an intriguing artist as well! Dance of the technoids is very peculiar, I like the discrepancies between the atmospheres.
“Luna Trick effectively marries many influences- think trip hop, glam goth, pre- Let's Dance Bowie, Nine Inch Nails industrial…” (Amazon)
“This CD is so full of interesting songs, musical diversity, and stunning imagery - it's hard to believe that it's the work of one guy.” (Amazon)
“This should appeal to people who like the new wave revival going on in alternative circles - or those that go for dark and dreamy.” (Amazon)
“…if you're looking for a CD that blends rock, funk, indie, and electronic, this is it.” (Amazon)
“At first listen, I fell for the NIN sound, and then I listened again finding threads of so many of my favorite bands like the Cure, David Bowie. This is old school new wave meshed with the best of today’s sounds. Buy this CD!” (CD Baby)
