jPar	Oct 8 2006 1:32 AM The War on Terror metaphor has always been quite clear in the series, but last night it was taken to a whole new level. Sadly, several people I spoke with today in my store thought it went over the top, trying to "create sympathy for the [insurgents] in Iraq." Science Fiction has always been a vital element in the examination of present day, and the fact that this has been lost on some folks saddens me. I applaud the bold direction the series has taken, and I will not move from my couch until the show returns next week. Keep up the excellent work, BSG is by far the best written show on television, drama, sci-fi, or otherwise.
