Who we are:
Mark Walters - Event Manager of the Dallas Comic Con and Sci-Fi Expo. Mark has been involved with comic book conventions in the Dallas area since 1990. He was the former co-chairman of the Dallas Fantasy Fair, which ran until 1996. Mark ran four successful comic book shows (The Dallas Comic & Toy Fest) completely on his own between 2000 and 2002, before partnering with Ben Stevens and Philip Wise to create the Dallas Comic Con. Walters currently catalogs rare comic books for Heritage Comic Auctions in Dallas.
Ben Stevens - Promoter of the Dallas Comic Con and Sci-Fi Expo. Ben started doing shows in 1994, working with STAR WARS actors, and developing an important relationship with Lucasfilm. His convention efforts have been widely praised by both fans and guests. He currently runs Official Pix, holding the exclusive license to produce STAR WARS images for conventions and private signings.
Philip Wise - Financial Advisor for the Dallas Comic Con and Sci-Fi Expo. Philip has taken a lifelong love of STAR WARS and developed an incredible website called REBELSCUM.com, where fans can find out all the latest info on Lucasfilm collectibles. He also currently runs THEFORCE.net, which is the premiere souce of information on anything related to STAR WARS.
