Sci-Fi Industries is Luis van Seixas, an electronic project, non supported by any kind of PC or Mac technology, here only hardware machines are involved in the process.
The musical influences laid on electro-industrial and Goth rock from the 80s.
The sound could be defined as dark ambient, cutting edge drum programming and some blend from Portugal cultural heritage. Professionally Luis van Seixas works on conservation and restoration of ancient sculpture and gilded wood objects.
In the past Luis van Seixas join some solid rock bands in Almada since 1988 and collected weird retro stomp boxes for their guitar.
Created Thisco..s studio, named Pod, in 1997 were produced and mastered some of most important CDs from Thisco and other artists: Samuel Jeronimo, Mecanosphere, The Ultimate Architects, L..Ego, Mikroben Krieg, Slow Soldier, Flat Opak, Badlobster, Spartak!.
Luis van Seixas join Fernando Cerqueira (SPH, Ras.Al.Ghul, Rasal.Asad) and started Thisco back in 2000 to support national projects and bands, giving them a chance to archive notoriety worldwide.
