Thanks for posting that listing of huanted places. Do you know of any in the San Diego area? I've been gone from town for 9 years. The town events like these don't get as well. Theres not has much history here I guess.

J.J. Abrams: “So much incredible stuff happens in Star Trek that I wanted to keep it feeling as real as possible,” he said in production notes provided by Paramount Pictures. “I didn’t want to have it all be green screens and CG.”

The Enterprise Bridge
Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and fashion designer Pierre Cardin inspired the look of starship’s sleek new bridge. “We wanted to pay tribute to the great optimism of the original television series and avoid the dark, morbid visions of the future that have lately become popular in sci-fi,” says production designer Scott Chambliss.
“There was a strong, sleek, modernist vision at play in the 1960s when the television series began. The Enterprise has a sleek sexiness to it, whereas the older Kelvin has a more typical militaristic style.” On the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles, the set was built on gimbals that allowed the Bridge to twist, shudder and tilt when coming under attack.
