Last one for the night ... a new featurette for "Looper." This is one that I definitely want to see. I'm always in for a time travel movie.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt Talk About The Party Life in 'Looper'
Sony . With Looper opening later this month, the intrigue surrounding the movie's plot continues to build with each new trailer or clip. Today's featurette is no exception, as we get to hear from Joseph Gordon-Levitt an Emily blunt about the plot and the life of a Looper. It…

Does anyone still care about an "Avatar" sequel, or even a prequel? Just curious...

Here's the latest "Dredd" clip, where Karl Urban convinced me that he's got it right.
Karl Urban Makes The Judgment Call As 'Dredd'
Lionsgate . In just two weeks, judgment is coming. Yes, we're talking about Karl Urban in Dredd. Lest you think this is some soft, easy version of Urban that you might have seen before, let us assure you that it's not.

Have you seen the trailers for "Cloud Atlas" yet? This looks pretty epic!
New 'Cloud Atlas' Theatrical Trailer is Like a Mashup of Millennia into Under 3 Minutes
Warner Bros. . For those of you who missed the huge six-minute trailer from Cloud Atlas, here's a new theatrical trailer to help you build some interest in this epic sci-fi yarn. Granted, it compresses the story concepts into two and a half minutes, but it still gets the main points…

Here's a piece I wrote on tonight's premiere of "Revolution." Check it out and share your thoughts about NBC's latest attempt at sci-fi. Is it a keeper?
New Show Report Card: ‘Revolution’
NBC . The latest in sci-fi to hit NBC is a post-apocalyptic tale that takes place 15 years after something mysterious kills all types of electricity, from car batteries to the power grid.

Here's the NEW third sampler for the older Digested Puddle project. It's basically a compilation of the home video footage being shot in 2000 and 2001. Some coarse language/adult content.

About me:
My name is Michael Arcand and I love science fiction, and quite frankly, I just can't get enough. I cut my teeth on authors like Ray Bradbury, Arthur Clarke and Isaac Asimov. Among the first TV shows I ever took a liking to were shows like The Twilight Zone, Night Gallery, Star Trek (TOS), and Buck Rogers. Today I'm a fan of anything BSG related, Fringe, Stargate Universe, and Warehouse 13, among others.
I look forward to sharing the best links from around the web on the latest sci-fi news and rumors, highlight, specials, and more. Be sure and leave comments and share the links you like as well. Got a hot tip to a story I've missed? Hit me up and let me know!
Ready? Then let's go...and good hunting.
Who I'd like to meet:
Among the currently living, my top three picks would be Ronald D. Moore, Joss Whedon, J.J. Abrams. If I could pick anyone at all, living or deceased, I would pick Gene Roddenberry, Arthur C. Clarke, or Isaac Asimov.Interests
